Interview Questions?
I am supposed to be getting called tomorrow for a phone interview to see if I qualify for a pre-hire with Con-Way Truckload. I was wondering, has anyone here gone through it and if so do you remember what kind of things they ask?
Responses from people from other companies who remember what kinda questions they were asked would be useful too, most companies probably use similiar questions.
Thanks in advance for any responses!

Good luck Katey. I actually talked to Christine for about 10 minutes today. It was our first conversation since I did a telephone application with Tammy Tuesday. They still had openings for Jan 24th. I just wasn't ready to commit yet as I'm going tomorrow for an orientation for the WIA program. The government money would be great if I qualify. But as company aided programs go, I really like Con-way's system. Roadrealter recently went thru the entire program. 5 weeks at Crowder and 3 weeks with a finisher. He has been solo for about a month. Doing real well. Last I checked he was working on around 72 hours waiting on hopefully getting a load this morning. He got caught up in the Holiday chaos.

Thanks xlsdraw!!
Yeah I start school the 24th if everything goes ok in the interview I'm just curious as to what kinda questions she's gonna ask. I'm a forgetful person sometimes so have my information about jobs, accidents, tickets, etc written down for reference if I blank but wondering what else they might ask about.

Why don't you drop Roadrealter a PM. He always seems willing to help out with all things Con-way.

Hi Katey,
I received calls or phone interviews if I could call them that, from three different companies for pre-hire. The only real concern from them was my employment gaps. I explained it, and they were fine with it. Other questions varied, from driving history beyond the last 5- 10 years, permit status, school status, and some other questions. I don't know if any of that helps.

Thanks for the info CoupeRider!
That does help! Those kinda of questions I am not so worried about. I'm just hoping they don't ask any of those "Tell me about a time you satyed calm in a crisis." or any of those kind of questions that you have to think quickly of a good, porfessional sounding answer very quickly since I'm not good at that kinda stuff.

Well should be getting called soon.
Anyone else remember what they were asked in interviews?
