Doesn't any recruiter return phone calls/emails?

I am anxiously awaiting word from 3 recruiters. I know that if I call too much that could work against me.

I called the recruiter from Covenant yesterday morning and got voicemail. 24 hours later no response. An hour and a half ago, I sent a follow up email (and yes I will call again today) and no response from that.

CRST's recruiter seemed like he wanted me in orientation yesterday when I talked to him last Tuesday. No reponse from him either.

Superior is trying to get me a road test (as of yesterday). The recruiter states that this is up to dispatch to send someone to my area to do this.

I just wish companies would either email or mail the 'no thank you,' so I would know what to do next. If I delay too long, I won't be able to go to orienation at all this year!

I have found that the recruiters that are interested in me call me back within 24 hours of leaving a message. Or they just answer the phone.

Although, I have had trouble getting a hold of Swift and Covenant.

The odd thing is is that Covenant really seemed interested in bringing me on. If they have reconsidered, they could easily tell the school and that way avoid contacting me.

If they didn't want you flat out....and the school is involved...I think Covenant would send a fax asking them to stop contacting them about you.

We had a guy supposed to be in class that put on an app that "no" he didnt have any drug convictions, but that because he wanted to be honest, he put down that he smoked pot 2 weeks ago. Four companies faxed in saying that they didnt want to be contacted about that guy. He only applied to one.

they could be busy. for one, i would never wait too long. after about a week gone by from filling out the application, i am calling to find out the status of my application. you can be waiting for something to happen, or you can make it happen.....

A week? No, I called yesterday and emailed today. I also plan on calling Covenant again before days end. I would never let a week pass without some kind of contact.

My recruiter answers my email. He's even called me a few times to ensure everything is going good.

I just got a 'no' from them. No accidents allowed in 3 years he said.
