Yeah thats what I was thinking. I'm sticking with the old too. DH miles have been below 10% also. Just have to make sure they don't start increasing. I'm betting they will.

Thought I was missing something. Right off it didn't sound right to me. Increase of 18-19 cents per mile. Raise mileage to 6.5, fuel @ 2.50 gal with 1/2 the surcharge.

    Thanks and be safe.

Well we got to our 99 city 44 hours before our appt time... yep almost 2 days!! Our DM knew we would get here early - but no - no drop order before hand and nothing set up... sigh... so we get here and deal with the weekenders. You know, might almost like working with the weekender dedicated managers better (sad to say)... he looked (KW) and said "no you shouldn't sit under that load until Tuesday - here is the drop order - and oh look here - where you are dropping there is another load that delivers first thing in the morning. That will take care of your empty trailer - and you regular DM can get you a load back when she gets here"... the funny part is - its from the same dedicated fleet that we are on, just delivering one day earlier. So we are now sitting at our 99 - 18 hours early - LOL! Oh well - have food in the slow cooker and will have a movie night - might even make popcorn!!

It seems like the only time I post is on down time... well another down time, but NOT in the truck! We so needed this weekend. It wasn't waiting to be loaded or unloaded it was a true 'off' time. Truck was in the shop for a steering recall and some electrical warrentee work. It was to be down for 1.5 days so we took a weekend. Went to a fancy restaurant that our daughter got a 'Groupon' for and just generally RELAXED! Ahhhh... so needed this. You know even though there is 'down time' while waiting for a load or unload - you are still 'on'. Also the last couple times we were 'home' there was 'work' we had to do... Stuff for Gary's mom and home 'issues'. So there really wasn't any relaxation.

Our dedicated route is doing OK... would love better co-ordination between our run out and the back haul. There always seems to be a day to a day and a half in between the two. That gets really frustrating - and slows down the miles...

So that's what has been happening for us
