From your mouths to God's ear!!
I think I will be OK though... 1) I mentioned when I was first starting school that myself personally didn't care if my trainer was male or female - however my husband would prefer that I have a female. 2) During his upgrade process he found out that a female trainer was being routed to be here on/about Wednesday. That means that the Company is taking into consideration what we would prefer - I like that. 3) I think I am a strong enough person to stand up for myself and say 'this is NOT acceptable'. 4) I also am not dependent on getting this job - I have a job to go back to (not that I would want that - but it puts me in a position of strength) and I have enough in savings to be able to get out at a truck stop if needed.
I don't think that will be necessary though.

Well, for his sake, I hope you get a female trainer! I know I'd be a little put off if my wife was going to take an extended vacation with some guy in a cubicle. Not that I doubt her fidelity, but because being in that situation with a guy would be extremely uncomfortable....and for THAT long.
Of course, knowing my wife, I might actually feel bad for the GUY!

You will probably be fine LadyK but for any reason at all you feel you are not being trained properly or not getting along then you know what you need to do. It happens all the time so don't feel as if you are trapped in that truck.
LadyK I would put the refrigerator at the top of your list. At the very least you can get a plug in cooler from the truck stop. I think they are roughly $40. They have them at WAlly World too. There is a special made fridge for that model Volvo. You can get them at the Volvo dealer in Salt Lake. I don't recommend it though because they are about $600! Actually Best Buy and Office Depot have some really good mini-refrigerators for cheap. Having a fridge will save you so much money its ridiculous! Soda's and bottled water etc... are so expensive at a truck stop. Each of you is going to buy at least 3 drinks a piece at a minimum of $2.00 each. That's over $12.00 a day just for drinks! You can go to WAlly World and buy a case of soda and a case of bottled water for probably under $12.00! Yes you guys will be making killer money but I kid you not you will wonder where the hell it all went to when going over the bank accounts and I can tell you from dumb dumb experience that it goes to those friggin truck stops!!! Your other worst enemy is going to be CD's and DVD's! It's tough because when you do have down time this is pretty much your only form of entertainment, well at least it seems that way. Buying that crap will make your money disappear faster than drunk hooker in Vegas playing the $1.00 slot machines!
Good luck, I'm very proud (and #### jealous) of you two!!! Excellent job!!!

Da Walmart has a Black and Decker 1.7cu foot refrigerator for $79.00. My wife bought me one and it runs fine on a little 300w inverter.
Now I have a 2K inverter I need to get into a terminal to have installed.
