Well all, I leave for school December 26th and start class on the 27th. I will be working for PAM to gain that valuable stuff called experience. I have read a lot from all you guys and I appreciate it. I will be sure to post as often as I can to give updates.

Have a good time & Best of Luck...
-
Will you really ? Or will you fall into that deep dark hole so many newbs seem to after leaving for orientation ?
-
right on good luck. I am going to attend Prime company sponsored program on the 4th. I never heard of PAM until now. What have you heard about them that made you decide to work for them?
-
I am going to make a point to be as upbeat about all of the things that are about to come at me. I will definitely be on here and will give updates when I have time or the money to get another laptop.

I don't want to be negative or condesending in any way but could you explain how you're going to school and then getting hired right out of school. I ask this because it seems like you might have a pre-hire letter from PAM and there's been problems with pre-hire letters before. You may have no problems whatsoever and breeze right through school and be in the business with good instructors backing you all the way. But all I'm trying to do is bring light to a problem that you may or may not have.
If you do have a pre-hire letter then now is the time to look at other options just in case this one falls through. Pre-hire letters only state that they are interrested in you when you complete school. If all the positions are filled then they may pass you over. It's just that a pre-hire letter is not a document written in stone and the company can change their mind. I would like for you to go on and gain the experience but I also would like for you to know all the outs and ins too. Good luck.Sportster2000 Thanks this. -
It is a hard way to get the experience required but for some it is the only option. -

If it goes like that in todays industry then it might be a good idea if PAM fits the driver's wants in a company. I just want new drivers to be aware that there are times when a company may not honor the pre-hire. -
yeah, i feel ya. atleast it is not werner right?
