I have to slide mine several times a day. Had trouble the other day in an icy lot, finally got it after grabbing one of the wheel chocks from the dock.

I carry some BFH to put on them.

I figured out finally that I had to do something,nobody to help then the bungee idea came to light searching the truck for ideas.
Didn't have any vice grips in the truck but I will when I go back from home time. -
Vise grips...carry a couple of them. I had a trailer once that the mud flap was only attached by one bolt and hanging and a tandem handle slot that was worn out. One vise grip on the tandem pull handle to hold it, the other on the mud flap until I got it to the shop. And extra bungee cords because if your doors swing loose of their moorings and you didn't do anything to prevent it, it's your fault if anything gets damaged.
