has anybody had any experience with either of these 2 schools? I am gonna enroll into one of them, just hard to know if one is any better than the other. They both cost about the same and class lenght is about the same....any input??

I personally went with Southwest Truck Driver Training, it taught me what I needed. The people were good and overall it was a good experience, though the only thing I wish was they had more drive time. The longest "trip" was from their location to 22nd/starpass over either ironwood or greasewood back to the freeway and up the frontage road back to school. Of course that was driven in sections with the 4 people in the truck.

My only advice would be to watch out, as they push Werner and TMC sorta like they get paid for it, be prepared.

In addition, their "job placement" consists of a packet with every trucking company in Tucson that might be hiring for you to contact and inquire about a job. Most of these companies require previous experience or will be class b positions.
