first of all, get those movies outta your head....

second, you say you have been here about 2 hours searching...in those 2 hours, you didn't find any information for the questions you just asked...???

they would have told you about companies that have training programs, they would have told you about schools, they would have told you how to finance your way through.....

it's NOT a movie.....its a JOB....and everybody, "always wanted to drive"....really.

Residing South of I-4 is a HUGE obstacle. Just the way it is.

..which is actually funny in itself because I've delivered to Ft. Pierce which is south of I-4. You'd think if a company knows they do deliveries down that way they would extend their hiring area down that far.

Same with North Port and Port Charlotte. There's a Walmart DC down that way. You'd think trucking companies that go down that far would extend their hiring radius down to that area.

Get a load down there once a month. Deliver. Take your home time. Once you're back, head over and see if they have an empty and start from there. (or take the empty trailer with you on home time)

Don't go to these CDL schools that charge U$ 4000.00 for three weeks. Most are a scam. If you can, go to a community college and apply for grants.
