if it is non-narcotic, especially robo, go for it....just do not mix it with anything else, except maybe a Tylenol if you need that for a headache..

but in the future, if you need a prescribe medication, make sure your doctor knows you operate heavy machinery, and always, always make sure the label has YOUR NAME on it, not someone else's meds.....

 

Short answer, Yes, you can take the robitussin. I myself suffer from asthma, and carry around Primatene, both the inhaler and the pills.
sux not being able to breath.

 

Don't you have any prescriptions for controlling your asthma,Abutural,proventhal inhalers, singular tablets etc? OTC meds aren't strong enough for full blown asthma imo.Get a script before you go back on the truck,you don't want an asthma attack when you're OTR.They are all legal for drivers as long as you have a script.

 

Take care of yourself 1st then worry about getting back in the truck, I would be going to see a doctor and get what you need before heading out again

 

Dude! You posted this on a Saturday, your at a motel and wont be in a truck till Monday???? Jägermeister and red bull and lots of it will take that congestion away from you. You can do that you know as long as you wait till all the booze is out of your system before driving. Aint fun but not illegal driving with a hangover.

 

I hate hangovers, I cant drive with one, but I still have to deal with em. I cant go without my beer and patron.I do however drive off L egally but the good thing is that the hangover goes away pretty quick its just waking up and getting ready to go is a *****
