I went straight to midwest regional with KLLM @ 39/mile. But you don't get 1000+ miles runs, often, if ever.
and lots of time at spent unloading at receivers since most loads are produce.

I started off at Prime with flatbed division at 36cpm plus a 5 cpm fuel bonus. Reefer starts out at 34cpm and an addition 5 cpm if you get a lightweight truck, plus a fuel bonus. I'm not sure what tanker starts out at, but I know its more. I average 3000 miles a week.
-
It's true. I now know. It's not all about cpm. I joined another high-cpm company and they had me walking up at midnight to drive & sleeping in the daylight and disabled my a/c most of the time. The a/c wouldnt work when it was 97degrees inside. They had me driving through that #### i95 jersey/dc area too much. They assigned me a week of <300 mile loads, and always filled up my 14 hour clock, but I only ran about 400 miles for it. That's 14 hours of work for 400 miles of pay? BS! The high cpm don't mean sht when you have to put up with that sort of crap.
I want NO NE. No short runs. And I don't want to drive at night. Furthermore, I want a dispatcher that treats me with respect. No e-log harassment BS. #### these trucking companies can be such asshols. -

Maybe I can pose another question along the lines of this one.
How many miles might I expect weekly. No married, no kids, no responsibilities, can stay our for as long as needed, months plural. -
-
I make 25.00 an hour hauling US mail. I work 4 10 hour days and I gross 1000 a week.
-
I'm at 60 cents a mile ltl, 61.5 if I have triples.1800 miles a week.
