Don't forget to tell him that the training does continue in the team shower!

If I did not get snipped at, I would have further mentioned to get the sheets that are washing machine soap, then a fabric softener and then they go straight to the dryer with the clothes and are an anti static sheet.

No liquid to spill! 24 sheets/washes was about $5.50

Once again I'll admit my ignorance--but don't truckstops still give both team drivers a free shower when fueling??

How generous of you to give 3 driver's showers.... Did you wash their backs?

I must have blocked that from memory.

I don't think I've ever seen that before.
I found this wonderful Tide + Febreeze Sport. Eliminates tough stains and helps eliminate odors. Obviously made for the hard working trucker in mind. or the soccer mom with kids who do sports. Either/or.

I throw one in the laundry bag before I start adding each day's clothes to help keep things fresh.

By far the most informative post. Thanks!

Pmracing, did not mean to be "snippy" I just don't like it when I get info about something I'm not asking about, and not a bit of info on what I did ask about. I don't care about the cards. I already know I get free showers, but for the training period its unknown if the trainer will want to use his card or not. We will not be team driving therefor I doubt we qualify for dual showers. If so that is cool. I just like to know prices cause god forbid I lose my card, the card reader is retarder or who knows. it never hurts to have proper funds for all purchases just in case. I hate relying on cards. I tend to lose them. :p

Those sheets are ######! So they are detergent and softener? Or are they just detergent sheets? I will have to get some of those. I have a bottle of detergent and some dryer sheets, but I will remember them next time I buy stuff.

Those truck stops must make a ton of money off the showers given it probably only costs a few cents worth or water. Then again the average trucker I see never seems to know the concept of showering. :p

Thanks for the info everyone. I will keep in mind the cost in case a time comes where I'm forced to pay. I will look into the platinum card. I probably won't get it since USA has designated fuel stops all over, but you never know. :) Cannot wait to get on the road.

those sheets are a great idea
yesterday was in a rite aid drug store---and right up by the coounter i saw a small bag/pouch---it had 5 butt gaskets in it--i have never seen them for sale--might be kind of nice to have on the road---usually the container in the stall is mt--cause certain drivers tend to make them into cowboy hats----no i am not naming names
