I seen the Rich truck driver ad, and he supposedly will hook me up with a school to get my cdl's, any one been thru this with this company, i actually talked with him for a few over the phone and they put you up in a room and school you how to drive and maintain a tractor and trailer, and find you a job when completed is this guy legit?

it is a CDL...not CDL's.....
and nope, never heard of him. frankly, what can he really do for you except get a fee from you then just recommend a school..?? hell even we can do that, and do it for free too...
where do you live,
what is your current employment situation,
what is your driving record like,
what (if any) criminal record do you have,
how many jobs have you held in the past 5 years
how old are you
are there any truck driver schools in your state, or nearby that you can go to
if you can answer these questions (and more later) we can help you..BigJohn54 Thanks this. -

A Community college is the only way to go. Companies recruit from most of them.

Im single now, out of work all the oil field companys are looking for cdl drivers, but im really short on money ( just going broke farming ) any help would be appreciated

With that much driving tme under your belt just go to the local DMV get a CDL book and study it for a few days.
Call around to the companies looking for drivers and find one willing to let you use a truck for the road test so you can go to work.Big Duker Thanks this. -
you could also just go to a company and get training from them, then work for them for a period of time, usually 1 year....
cost is everything too as you would know. so it comes down to what yu can afford to do. tying yourself into a contract job, may not be good, or the best thing to ever hit you...lammy73096 Thanks this. -
