Miller Truck Lines - Need More Info

    I'm not finding much out there in the internet world about Miller Truck Lines out of Tulsa, OK. I'm considering driving for them but really need some input from fellow drivers.....the good and the bad.

    Think there is another old thread on here bout them if you use the search function. Tried to find out a little about them myself but didn't get much. Know they have 2 yards now with Tulsa being the other. Seems like they do it all cept skateboads.

    Thanks Panhandle. I did see that thread but the guy who posted back in March, 2011 appears to be very disgruntled with his experience. I am really looking for both the positives and negatives of Miller....not just the negatives. I know a lot of the drivers would rather voice the negative but I know there are positives with all companies if we all just sat back and thought about it.

    I'm guessing since there aren't too many posts on here about MTL, unlike numerous other companies, then I'm sure their not that bad. I guess we shall see.

    Bout a year ago, I talked with one of their drivers that was doing reefer. Seemed to be quite happy at that time. Don't believe they have apu's and can't remeber if he said they had an idle policy. Do know, that when I called them, they wouldn't bother to talk to me at that time since I didn't have 2 years experience.

    I have a cousin that works for Miller. He has worked for them for many years. I do remember many years ago they let him go due to some kinda problems with logs or logbook tickets, I'm not really sure what the deal was. They told him to come back after x ammount of time. He went to work for John Christner for a while. He went back to Miller later, they hired him back and I hear that he is very happy with them. I had some business dealing with them before I started driving and they were good people to deal with. And the do pull flatbeds too.
