Most folks that bad month companies more likely never work for that company.Only take a gran of salt on every thing you read.Swift is a start to gang experience and get feel for trucking.People think they know everything but don't know ######.If you go with Swift, get your experience and move on to a better company.

he'd be 1000 times better off going with Millis transfer as they hire in both areas, have better trucks, pay better, run allot more miles, and dont "rent" drivers there trucks....

But what do i know right? :biggrin_25523:

You might also want to check out Roehl, the run and hire from all over the place.

do research on your own. Talk to recruiters from many companies. Go to truck stops and talk so some drivers from those companies. Most will be willing to give you a piece of their mind, good or bad.

Don't listen to 70% of the bs you read in the "bad companies" section on this or any other site. Most of those drivers were probably fired for reasons brought upon by themselves. For every complaint about a company, there is a driver happy with the company, they just don't post about it.

I can only offer this to all of us who are new. There is no easy route up the seniority chain and one must prove oneself by performing well, no matter what industry, including trucking. Pick a company, pay attention, hone your craft and your performance will be rewarded with more and better miles, more money, and better recommendations. We all start out on the bottom, especially in an often-changing industry like trucking.

OP- you can beleive what ever you want, listen to the recruiters, drivers at Truck stops hopeing for a hireing bonus, this forum, your sister brother in law best freind, i dont care but what info you take from here, as in "words of wisdom about the trucking industry" look at there experiance before you hold it as golden advice, the 3 posters about me COMBINED do not have 6 months EXP! just saying.

dont just pick a company and hope for the best, do LOTS of REASERCH and pick the company that meets as many of your NEEDs and wants as possible.

    good luck

Then why are you asking us? And where did you get the information that Swift was a good company?
