Driving record

Can anyone tell me what is considered a "clean driving record". Would it be your entire driving history or a certain amount of years? I will be starting a 20 week program in a couple of weeks and would like to know if I'm going to run into any problems when I graduate. As of 2000 I have had 1 major accident and 1 speeding ticket. Both were 4 years ago and not related. Before that I have had 1 other major accident, A couple of speeding tickets and a DUI 15+ years ago. Thanks for any input.

Possibly the speeding tickets and wreck will cause problems.

The DUI not so much as it was over 10 yrs ago. I don't think you'll be allowed to drive commercially in Canada because of the DUI.

Its best to be up front with your recruiter and see what that companies policies are.

Most companies have a time limit, for example they will say no tickets/accidents in the last 5 years, it is different at each individual company. You need to look at different companies before you go to school and see what their driving record requirements are, most of them have them posted on their web pages, or you could call their recruiting department and ask, just for verification. Also you might want to get a copy of your record so that you can know for sure exactly what is on it.
