I am wondering about the straight truck business. I have never dealt with them from a business standpoint. Only AZ.

I spoke to a freight company/broker, and the pay is 70% for the owner, including any surcharge for fuel, etc.

Is it normal/right to have the fuel surcharge included in the percentage?

I think the biggest straight truck you can get is a 28 footer, essentially a pup. Not sure why someone would want to go over the road having the same expenses but 25 foot less van space. You know?? I know fedex does custom critical but they're hauling high dollar/valuable freight (supposedly).
