About my DAC
Ok so recently I was applying for prehires and I had Schneider as one of them, I found out that they do hair follicle testing so I talked to my recruiter about how far back it goes (I hope to God I did not cut my own throat) this obviously raised some red flags for him but I was always told if you're truthful you get further than lieing, so I told him I quit doing drugs a few months ago to straighten out my life (It's been about 6 months) he told me I wouldn't qualify, he thanked me for my time I thanked him and that was that, but today I received a letter that says word for word "
Test Result: Admit
Test Reason: Pre-Employment
Per the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, 49CFR, Subpart 40, section 40.287, the employed must supply to any donor who violates a DOT drug and alcohol regulation a list of Substance Abuse Professionals and how to reach them"
PLEASE! Don't tell me this goes into my DAC and pretty much black lists me from all other employment.

Okieron I am in the process of getting my CDL right now, I just need to know if Schneider can report that and if it means I threw $4,500 down the drain because I decided to be honest.

Bad move... Honesty isn't always the best policy. Should have just said you don't have any body hair and would love to pee in a cup or do a blood test for them.

So I can just call it quits?

I do not see why my past should haunt me today would my other prehires have already looked over my DAC and wont look at it again? Is there anything I can do about this?

I don't know that anyone here can answer this. You may want to call the recruiter back and ask him/her.
My "opinion" is that no they probably will not or cannot report it to HireRight for several reasons. First it doesn't appear from what you stated that you had a drug test; Schneider's letter is relying on information you told a recruiter. For a DOT drug test they cannot require a consent form or waiver to disclose, but for a non-DOT test they likely would and to disclose what you allegedly stated in a conversation with a recruiter would likely catch the attention of their legal Dept. Since you had no DOT (Admissions and hair tests aren't recognized by the DOT) drug test you had no DOT regulation violation.
Again only an opinion. Make a call to the recruiter.
