Are we talking about US Postal Mail? If so, are we talking about driving the big trucks from the distribution centers or delivering to actual addresses?

If you are talking about hauling US Postal Mail, you need to go to http://about.usps.com/careers/welcome.htm and follow the process for applying there. Last I knew, they did not contract out the hauling of US Postal Mail to other carriers.

 

What about Sodrel?

 

I suspect that you are referring to being a HCR (Highway Contract Route) driver and needing a Postal Badge to gain entrance to the PDC (Postal Distribution Center) and the various Post Offices you may be delivering to.

In my case in 2004 through 2006 or so, I had a picture taken at the local PDC and they handled the badge. I was issued a temporary badge until the picture badge was available.
