Most posts here have been very helpful...not sure why jackarse posts have been added, but...whatever. Its summer, now...hygiene is KING. When you use truckstop/terminal showers, wear shower shoes, bring antibacterial soap to wash feet, and spray tootsies with anti-athletes foot spray. I do my shoes before I shower, then my feet before putting on socks. Trust me...this advice bears repeating. Floors are FILTHY...

I also kept a can of Lysol in my shower bag. I would spray pretty much anything that I touched in the shower area.

Thank you for pulling this list to the end. I leave out with my finisher today and due to the list I am making quite a few adjustments. Common sense applied with most of this but some things like avoiding a suitcase and going with a large duffel bag were missed. I'm sure my finisher will thank you as well...lol. Thanks again!

what I do at a minimum is get cold-water instant oatmeal with sugar already in it and bottled / filtered water ... it is hard to pack 3-weeks of food so avoid greasy as it is hard to clean up and figure you are going to have to get some veggies and fruit somehow as none of it will last that long ~ pre-packaged food is almost a must for that type of situation

Thank you nicholas. Instant oatmeal is my favorite. I guess Wally World is my future every other day or so.

so like, with a screen-name "trucker-chick" I could guess some other favorites but let me ask you, is Packing Home Made Ice Cream into non-insulated containers something you would do?
I found some other places that - on average - can and will do better ..... but get ready for stick-it-to-ya shock when we start talking A.P.U.'s & Engel 35 DeepBlue performance cooler

I would think this be ideal for new and anybody in trucking, but i plan too buy a few those vacum bags , that way i can get 5 times as much as clothing -bedding and keep em dust free and stuff and take less room too just a thought i had .
