What abouts some good California companies?

What abouts some good California companies?

Yeah, I want to leave the "Golden State" as fast as I can (... it's seen it's better days and it's just waaay too many people here ... cRaZy folks seem to be attracted to this place like bees to honey...)

But I'm in school and I want to drive OTR. I want to eventually buy a small "Hobby Farm" on 3-20+ acres of land someplace cheap. (Outside California.)

So ...I have to give my school 10 companies that are good to work for. I'm in my early 50s ... love to work ... love to drive anything ...but I don't want to bang myself up too fast... pace myself.

Any suggestions?

You are going about it all wrong. It doesn't matter where the company is , just where they hire from.

If your staying in LA area there are tons of companies that hire from there.

Another place that was once nice to live in in CA! S.D. is not really trucker friendly--I know of NO trk stops of any size. Closest place to park is Rest Area 30 mi East on I-8, or Acorn Casino 40 mi east on I-8...

Won't argue with you on that...

Stick a fork in me ... I'm done.

How can I live here any longer. It's not the worst place in the world ... but I'm not 22 years old any more and I want a higher quality of life ... and this place ... well ... it went crazy a long time ago.
