Cascadias have encased headlights, like my CornBinder. I have never had to adjust the angle on either the Shaker I had or this PornStar. However, it looks like a PITA.

Red Hot Chili Pepper, I have the easiest way to adjust it than all four pages combined! :)

You grab a hold of both sides of the headlight and put your foot on the bumper.... lol, no....

Freightliner has admitted a problem with improper headlight adjustments on the Cascadia's.

A factory recall is in effect starting 2/01/12.

After communicating with your company, simply stop by any Freightliner dealer and they will fix it for free.

From what I read, the adjusting nut.... with the hood closed, standing on the side of the truck, look at the side of the headlight of the assembly and you'll see a 1/2" plastic adjusting nut. One mechanic said he had to adjust his whole fleet 2-3 full turns.

Possibly, the bulb is not installed correctly. It could be tilted in the socket.

    2 weeks, lol.

Headlights on a Cascadia are simple to adjust. You need a torx, can't remember which on but you probably want to have a set of them anyway. You don't need to lift the hood so if you park on a level surface near a wall it only take seconds to do. The adjustment screw is near the bottom of the light on the side of the truck, so I guess the bottom back of the headlight assembly. Insert correct torx and turn. It's that simple.

FYI, it's always good to have a spare headlight but if you don't the standard low beams, high beams and road lamps on a Cascadia are all H11. So instead of running around with a black eye when one burns out switch it with one of the road lamps, nobody really uses those anyway :)

I finally found it after I stopped, I was looking at the front and not the side. Seems the early cascadias use a torx bit while the newer ones use a half inch plastic nut, just be carefull, don't break that pos plastic nut. A buddy of mine said he will get about 50 feet away from another trailer and aim the lights at the reflective tape.
