The manager outright told me that he really did not want to hire me, not because of lack of experience, but since I was a trucker and there are so many trucking jobs out there, he was afraid that any little thing that may happen to frustrate me, I may just say screw it and go back into trucking because I can get a job the next day. I tried to explain that it wasn't like that, but he was leery and did not hire me. Sad but true, so that something to look out for as well.
How much were you making in sales?

It is true if you want it to be. Once a college degree, always a college degree. Seems to me, that for a college educated person, you really know nothing at all.

I thought college educated people were supposed to be smart???

Or is that something "I heard"????
I heard from an email exchange with a trucker.

Could you explain more about exactly what you need to do to be able to retire at 45 by trucking.

    It's a simple 2 step process.

Let someone else pay for the truck.

Then over the course of 20 years "lose" a couple if high value loads.

I am not gonna read 24 replies but if one shows up to interview dressed as office workers do and constrains one's conduce to office civility then any company that would not do so is one at which you do not need to be working anyway.

And while I am at it, I have 100,000 in operations and recently have had access in the office and I can tell you that they [office] are total 100% screw-offs with total dedication to annihilation of efficiency

I went from trucking to a white collar job; now back to trucking.

I was offering "discounted" dental work out of my basement -- i.e. paper clips for posts, etc. Anywho, some broad got a nasty infection from a paper clip, and I ended up going on the run before any local, state or federal agency could grab me...

    Back to truckin'!

Could you explain more about exactly what you need to do to be able to retire at 45 by trucking.
Simple -- transport kilos of cocaine; and the closer you can purchase them to southern border, the better (cheaper). You'll be a millionaire way before 45.
