Left Florence at noon and need to be in Hazleton by 23:00. 78k and gonna hit Richmond, DC, and Baltimore at bad times. Don't know where the construction and bottlenecks are.
Quickest routing from Florence, SC to Hazleton, PA

Via Greensboro, NC and Roanoke, VA is an option. Friday before Memorial day, I'd avoid the DC/Baltimore area.

There ain't no way you are going to make it. You might as well be getting on the horn now. It's a 10.5 hour trip plus stop time. You might as well add 1 hour for a DC cluster. You'll definitely run out of hours. This is where an inexperienced planner/dispatcher screws up and tries to put it on you.
You want to go around the west side of DC I-95 exit 170 catch I-495 up to exit 38 and catch the I-270 connector up to US 15. Then PA581 east to I-83 north. Then exit 51B for I-81 north to exit 141 destination.
I'd guessdamate a 1100 arrival Saturday. 0100 with a magic pen!
Have fun in DC on one of the worst travel days. I'm glad I'm not you!
After delivery get back on I-81N and it's a couple miles to I-80 west and the next exit 256 is the Hazleton Pilot.xlsdraw Thanks this. -
I'm in a bad situation too. I have a 0615 delivery at Walmart DC in Henderson NC in the morning. Then I have to go up I95 to DC then on toward I70. I hope to make it to Breezwood Pa in time to get a 10 in before my 0730 appt at Walmart in Bedford Pa Sunday Morning. I dread all of I95 tomorrow as well as DC.

Good job! I knew DC was gonna make or break you. Usually it's a nightmare.

Drove 680 miles yesterday. Had :09 left on my 11 when I got here. Glad to be in the midwest. And, yes I am on e-logs.

Another popular option to avoid DC area is get off on 17N in Fredricksburg, to 66W to 81N. Adds around 35 miles but keeps you away from DC traffic.
