There are 3 Reddaway yards that are union. I also believe there are some Holland yards that are union or were a few years ago.

Not all US Foods, Pepsi, and Coke locations are union. Sysco has some locations that are union also. A lot of grocery warehouse drivers are union.

IIRC, Schneider still has a few drivers that are Teamsters. Very few,

Really depends on what area/s of the country you are in anymore. If you can stand the politics union jobs aren't bad..after all if it wasn't for the unions, the wages for drivers would not be good at all. Now you younger folks have to understand I'm going back a few years too.

    Schneider has a union division.
Are you looking for a union job?
YRC Truckload/Freight recently ran an ad needing 200 OTR drivers running sleepers with dry van. The 200 drivers were to be spread out over 8 terminals. Google YRC Freight to get their phone number, etc. I think the home office for YRC Freight (sleeper OTR Division) is in Kansas City or Olathe, not sure.

Tankstar.com also has many union terminals for tanker endorsement drivers. Usually have a few openings.

I have been in the workforce for 38 years. I am 56 years old. I have always been NON-union. I am NOT in a union at all. I have tried to get into union shops, only to be told, by human resources personnel, that I am NOT qualified union shop material. A union employee must have education, street smarts, technical capabilities, guts and backbone. UNFORTUNATELY, I am sorely lacking in all of these necessary qualities. There is a lot more than meets the eye when it comes to being in a labor union.

I have also found that many union employees intensely dislike NON-union employees because the union employees feel that the NON-union employees drag them down to a level that they are trying to rise from. I personally have found that some, NOT all, union employees tend to get outright violent or high and mighty. I believe it is the the old adage of money and power.
