As far as I know, there are no union OTR truckload companies. About the only ones left are LTL companies; Yellow and ABF (and their subsidiaries). There are a couple of smaller companies, Oak Harbor and Duie Pyle (?) and New England Motor Freight (?), but there are no national union truckload carriers.
-
Thanks ... that good to know ..
Jake The Bullhauler Thanks this. -
I know UPS is union and I think Dayton Freight may be as well (not sure on that one). Almost all LTL companies require some level of experience before they will hire you.
-
Dayton isn't. A friend of mine drives for them.

i work for pepsi and our branch is union local at 7 dollars an hour

YRC(old Yellow and Roadway), ABF, UPS are all union nation wide carriers which are LTL. Some smaller companies might be union too
New england motor freight is union, but they have there own union, not teamsters or anything
US Food is union as well. They are food delivery(kinda can tell LOL)
Coke and Pepsi BOTTLING companies are union
Most construction companies are union as well
There are more companies out there, just need to do your homework and research

Con-way Freight, Estes Expresslines, Old Dominion, A Duie Pyle, FedEx, Central Transport(although they NEED one), and USF(Holland and Reddaway)danny_379 Thanks this. -
