Can anybody offer a company they know that has APU's, INVERTER's and "pet" friendly????

Any help would be appreciated............no need for any sarcasm here, these companies are begging for driver's, may as well get what I want!
I haven't found a trucking company yet that is not looking for driver's.

no sarcasm, but do not expect to get what YOU WANT right out of school..??

expect to pay your dues first, THEN you CAN get what you want.

    maybe.

    sarcasm was on your part.

hehehe.....I expected at least one response like this.
I'll tell you like I told another old timer that's been trucking most of his life:
Don't know if you realize it, but this current truck market is a "driver's market"! These trucking companies are so DESPERATE for good drivers that they are offering full benefits, big sign-on bonuses, new trucks with all the options including APU's and INVERTERS!
If you need to settle for the first offer that comes along, go for it! I don't need to! I've already got several "pre-hire" letters and several phone calls from recruiters asking what it will take to
get me hired..........so, yes, I will be picky about which company I'll work for, been doing that the last 30 years, so when it's a "dog-eat-dog" between these competing truck companies you'd have
to be an idiot not to take advantage!

So if you don't have an answer to my question, that's fine, but you still offered sarcasm!
    Good luck to ya!

    I agree with Gizmo.

To the OP. If you already have several pre-hires then why ask a question about companies that have the requirements you want? Most of the companies that have good equipment (new and maintained properly), have or allow inverters, have APUs, and allow pets usually are companies that require at least 1-5 year experience. Not saying that "special" company that has everything you want that hire recent grads isn't out there, but good luck trying to find it. I personally don't want to work for a company that allows pets, but that is me. If it was me I'd also want to work for a company that does not allow smoking inside the trucks haha.

Most of the desperate companies are probably the companies you don't want to work for... Why do you think some of the good companies are so hard to get into? Its because the drivers usually don't leave from them, they retire from them.

Wow you seem to know a lot about the industry. Yes companies are looking for good drivers, but not necessarily a newbie with no license. Yes you will have to pay your dues. You most likely will not be driving a new truck right off the bat and certainly not if you are wanting to take a pet with you. There are some companies that are running apu's so thats not totally out of the question but living in florida is going to make it that much tougher. I know of a few down here but none that hire inexperienced drivers.
I know Robert Bearden trucking has apu's but not sure about their hiring requirements. Central Ref. allows small pets and newbies. They do have some apu's but not sure if they are on every truck.

Prime has all three, they require a pet deposit.

Because the "pre-hires' I have allow pets but no APU's or inverters. I haven't seen a company yet that required more than 1 year experience, 75% hire straight out of school.
But since there are companies that have pet policies I will take my best friend.........and smoking..I'm with you......they can ban it as far as I'm concerned.

Interstate requires one year experience. The following info is copied and pasted from their craigslist ad

Keen Transport requires 2 years is one company off the top of my head. My current company used to require two, they now require one. Many of the local water truck companies around my area require 2-3 years experience. ABF requires 2 years, I'm sure I could find many companies out there that require 2+ years of experience :).

Not sure what kind of animal you have for a pet (I assume a dog), but I couldn't bring my cat or dog with me in a truck... My animals like to run around and they just can't do that very often when in a truck.

What are you talking about? There are tons of companies that hire straight out of school with no experience. I don't know a lot about this industry, what I do know is it's VERY easy to get a job driving a truck if you're qualified. And "pay my dues"? What dues? I appreciate the info, but 90% of these companies are begging for graduate drivers as well as experienced drivers.......you simply pick the company that offers what you want and apply for the job, this is not "rocket science" hehehehe.........
I think its funny some of you think it's hard to get a truck driving job with any company.....in most cases it's not! Show me 1 company website that is not hiring graduates and I'll show you 100 companies that are hiring graduates!
There's nothing special about driving a truck as long as you're qualified.....but again, If there are companies out there with APU's, INVERTERS and a "pet" policy........I'll betcha they're hiring!
Nothing wrong with "requirements", the companies have them and I have them......that's part of the hiring process.
    I appreciate your candor!
