Hey everyone. I drove OTR for 3 companys over an 18 month period. I left my last OTR job in July of 09.
Since then I have been running my own business with decent success. Hate the stress of cash flow and the ups and downs of sales.
I truly love driving OTR and really miss it.
I have been rejected by a couple of companys due to the fact that I have been out for 3 years. I have a perfect record and clean backround.
HELP PLEASE!
Want to get back into OTR. Show me the way!

It would seem you may need a refresher course. Before applying at more companies, I would call a prospective company and lay out your story to see if a refresher would do.
The fact the your were at 3 companies in 18 months may also raise some red flags. A conversation with someone "in the know" at a company seems in order.
You may also try looking at small companies near you that may not be as rigid about recent experience. Pick up the phone book and hit the pavement. -
Companies like Schneider and TMC might offer to bring you in but may require a refresher CDL course be completed first at a reputable school then out with a trainer for a week or two to verify your skills. But bottom line is I doubt you'll be able to get in anywhere that doesn't take on "new drivers" but hopefully you can manage with an abbreviated trainee period.

go back to school.

Probably gonna have to find a mega carrier who will put you back on with a trainer. Otherwise as mentioned you will need a refresher course

Try Arnold or USA.
