Once your clothes is out of the dryer, fold it like you are going to put it in a drawer. Then start at one end and roll it up like a cigarette as tight as you can. We were taught that in the military. You can pack more and never have a wrinkle if you do it right. I'm sure there is a website out there that teaches you how to fold military style.. Google!

If you are out only two weeks, pack two weeks of clothes and do them at home.

Yep, PMracing has it right, Purex Complete 3-1 is perfect for truck drivers. No spills, don't need multiple ingredients, it's all in one sheet. The larger the load, the dirtier the load, the more sheets you can add in.
Condo Cruiser, you know it, fold and roll, the only way to pack. I got used to just taking 2-3 pairs of clothes, when the 2 got dirty, shower, put on the last and wash the other two. Lightened the load, gave me something to do for those 10/34's.

Every time I've been inspected I asked the officer if driving barefoot was legal, they all said yes, but gave me a lecture about why it was dangerous. I drive with socked feet regardless of weather and don't have any issues with it. My shoes are always placed, and laces tied, so that I can put them on in a hurry.
Last fall a truck rolled in front of me and another car and I was still able to be the first person on the scene even though I had to put my shoes on, turn on my radio to alert other drivers and called 911.

I can't see how flip flops are an infraction when you are out of the truck.
When you are out of the truck you aint drivin' no more...

There is no "dress code" in the DOT hand book. Not smart to wear flip-flops nor is it professional but it is legal. Can't tell you how many drivers I see in sweat pants and flip-flops! They would be writing tickets to every other truck that passed through the scale if that were the case!
As far as your laundry goes, I would learn to use the dryer or bring some extra pair or pants. Its almost cheaper to buy a pack of T-shirts than it is to wash and dry them! You will figure out what best suits your schedule once you get rolling. You will also find that team driving doesn't allow for a lot of truck stop time. You will find that the money is a hell of a lot better though!
Good luck...

i always used those 3 in 1 sheets too but have recently tried those jell packs like you use in the dryer
I must have lived in a different umiverse then most people. I am grateful for washers and dryers at TS
not much money once a week or you need another job. I dont buy much else in TS . I shop at Aldi's buy a week's worth of food for $40
A few coffees here and there when i fuel
Now 10 days out with the wife I am probably in the negative after 3 motels and eating out you know....sigh
OH AND WINDSMITH......an inside out shirt at a TS might put you on the best dressed list
