It's all in the gene pool. surely , we are genetically pre-disposed. I am thankful for being the one of four siblings that never had to work hard at keeping fit. at 65 i'm cruisin' and thankful to my ancestoral genes. lol. but, not so funny.

42 is way too young. You don't start falling apart until 45 and then it takes a long while. Though trucking will speed up the process.

My dad is 60 and still driving even after a couple bouts with cancer recently. Don't see him hanging it up until 65 at least. Still unloads a 53', floor loaded to the ceiling and to the doors everyday.

Not at all. I'm in my mid/late 20s and was the youngest in my class. At least half the class was older than 42. One was around 60. You're never too old.

57 next week and getting back into it after being out of it for 15 yrs.
But then again, I'm to young to be this old!
