What maps are best?

I just bought a Rand Mcnally atlas. The smaller version. Is that good enough or shiould I look at something else?

They are just fine, maps are maps long as they are current and its "MOTOR CARRIER"/commercial trucks.

Now I do like the binder ones over the typical book style.
I also like the laminated pages over the plane paper one

All I ever used was the deluxe motor carriers atlas Rand Mcnally. I like the laminated pages. Packed with info. They list for about $80 bucks, but I have found that Pilot has them on sale for about $20-30 from time to time. That and a good truck stop directory will go far. Many use a lot of PC tools. I was always old school with my trucking tools, except for cell and qualcomm.

I buy the regular Rand Trucker Atlas for $5.95, mark it up, tear it up, and throw away every year!! Too cheap and can get them on sale!!

I like mine. I can use a dry erase marker on it, can't tear it and can spill coffee on it! With yours you might turn left at the mustard stain when you should have went right!
