Haz-Mat Test - am I ready to take it?
I have been reading the book from the NC DMV, and doing the online practice test on this site and consistently passing. Am I ready to test or should I keep studying or do online test elsewhere first?

If you aren't having problems with those tests you should be fine. You will likely see the exact same questions on the DMV test, some may be worded a bit differently but same questions. I read through the Hazmat section and then just did online practice tests for a couple days, I think I missed 1 on the test.

you're allowed several wrong answers, and you can take it up to three times in a day. I don't think you'll have any trouble passing.

If you passed an online test, you're ok to go. Just remember to take it slooooow. They use trick questions. Most are easy, simple questions. They are multiple choice. They change the words in a way you're not used to. They will try to trick you. I think I missed one. Then you have to go get fingerprinted. If you are a felonious person, don't go. You have to go through Homeland Security as well. I believe Texas only allows to test once a day for that if you fail.

I have to renew my hazmat. I looked at the tests this site has posted. They are ridiculously stupid compared to what is on the Illinois hazmat test.
Try CRST'S site for more realistic testing.
