new drivers dont be like this guy. pay attention to your surroundings
new drivers dont be like this guy. pay attention to your surroundings BEFORE you pull into an area!!!
this driver pulled into an employee parking area and couldnt figure out how to back it out of there. So he pulled ALL the way in, got himself jack knifed in the parking lot, after several moments of watching him he got straightened out and ended up backing up, up a hill thru the grass into the other employee parking lot before i could get thru the fence to help him out.

I mean Ive only been driving for 13 months but the #### newbie OTR guys do, just baffle me sometimes.
I remember if I didn't know where I was going, I would pull over at the nearest point and go walk to see if I could get into where I needed to without trouble. What common sense doesn't apply these days. holy hell

Never hurts to get out of the truck and walk around before hand. Make yourself a plan, and don't guess where your going, know!

Yeh and it would help if some of the places had better signage to the truck entrance. Husband once had a load in a small town with directions like this, p/u is next door to @@@ and the sign to p/u is covered by large bushes, what the heck. I googled the location to get a better look at it. It's like a zoo out there.

Always a good idea to google maps a location. itll save you a lot of trouble especially when the gps gets you lost. or the directions that are given do match up with the actual direction of the place.
