permit test.
How many questions or what percentage can I miss on the permit test? Idaho if it makes any difference.

Check out Idaho's DMV website, or google search for it.
Here in Cali it was:
General Knowledge - 50 questions, could miss 10
Air Brakes - 25 questions, could miss 5
Combination Vehicle - 25 question, could miss 4

man dont sweat that. the test is all common sense really. if you have been reading the book and taking the practice tests and doing good with them, it is a breeze.

Here's what I did... Get your smart phone and look up Christ cdl practice exams. While you are waiting to sit in for your exam you can take a bunch of exams for free!! I studied for the permit for about 6 hours spread over 3 days. It was mostly common cents but you got to know what common cents looks like!! Familiar your self with the material and you will get your permit!! Good luck!!

just study study study and then study some more. that was the most stressful time of getting my license was all the tests. in cali i had to take the class c test as well again but didnt study for it and almost failed lol. it had been at least 5 years since i took it and wasnt ready for it

Yeah, I had to take the Class C AND the M1 motorcycle test again!! In addition to the 3 tests for CDL A AND I took the three test for my endorsements. And I passed them all!

Or you can take the test fluke it and take it again. It is no big deal.

Here are my results for that Crist sites general knowledge practice test. 28 missed out of 165 questions. There are some School bus questions in there that I had not expected. I will do the combo, and airbrake tests in a while.
