color blindness..
When you get a DOT physical did they give you a color blindness test ?
http://www.truckingschool.com/choosing.htm
"VISION: A driver must have a minimum of 20/40 vision in each eye, with or without corrective lenses, and have a 70 degree field of vision in each eye. Drivers may not be color blind."
I am color blind and it has never caused me any issues driving.. But it appears my career may be over before it begins ..

Check with a local Doctor that does DOT physicals. They should be able to answer your question.

I don't recall a color blindness test during the physical, but when I went down to the DMV, as part of my tests, they tested me for identifying unlabeled road signs as well as colors (in the viewer). So I suppose it was part of my CDL, only the color blindness test was performed by the DMV and not at the doctor's office.
