    CDL jobs websites

How are some of the trucker jobs websites (jiggyjobs, indeed, etc)?

I am a student that got my CDL, hazmat endorsement, and TWIC a couple of months ago. I was not able to apply for any jobs because of a prior commitment with my job, but that is winding down now and now is the time for me to apply. My thinking is that instead of applying to individual companies, filling out an app with a site like jiggyjobs may give me opportunities with companies in my area that I don't know anything about.

    Thoughts?

I'd skip those 'blaster' sites. Do your research and apply to the companies that you're interested in. Those endless phone calls with offers of $0.12/mile get old after a day or so.

I have used indeed.com in the past and was introduced to alot of companies looking for drivers, both OTR, regional, and local; it just depends on what you are looking for but you have the right credentials as well. Why not get your tanker endorsement as well? It is something to look at.

What do you want to haul? Where do you live? How much hometime? Answer those questions and then call the company that fits. Everyone is hiring.
