| How tall/heavy do you have to be? Im studying for the CDL permit, anyways I told my older brother who came over about me wanting to go to a trucking school one day, and he laughed since he thinks im not big enough?? | Some jobs may have physical requirements, such as how much you can lift, but if you are strong enough to haul yourself into the truck, press down the clutch, you can certainly drive a truck. |

| If you stay away from flatbed companies and tarp loads you will be allright, I drive a Century class Freightliner automatic which I did not think I would like but it is a good truck. The steel tarps weigh about a hundred pounds each and the lumber tarps are about one hundred thirty pounds and a lot of loads require two tarps per load. I see more ladies at the wheel every day, I met a peer flatbedder who was sixty two and about one hundred fifty pounds and she finished folding her tarps and offered to help me fold mine, she was behind me in line. Plenty of work if you can handle the lifestyle. goodluck drive55cat |
