Well the 135 will probably go up after you become a driver!:smt003 As long as you can pass the DOT Exam I don't think you will have any problems. -
Some jobs may have physical requirements, such as how much you can lift, but if you are strong enough to haul yourself into the truck, press down the clutch, you can certainly drive a truck.

as long as you can pass a DOT physical, you can drive.
by the way, i am 5' 9.5", and i weigh (ok, overweight), a hefty 195 pounds.
tell your brother he's full of it............... -
thankyou all for the info, now I know I still have a chance

When I started driving, I was 6'0" and around 120. :eek_1:
I made you look like Joe Pesci. :biggrin100 (22): -
If you stay away from flatbed companies and tarp loads you will be allright, I drive a Century class Freightliner automatic which I did not think I would like but it is a good truck. The steel tarps weigh about a hundred pounds each and the lumber tarps are about one hundred thirty pounds and a lot of loads require two tarps per load. I see more ladies at the wheel every day, I met a peer flatbedder who was sixty two and about one hundred fifty pounds and she finished folding her tarps and offered to help me fold mine, she was behind me in line. Plenty of work if you can handle the lifestyle. goodluck drive55cat
