Thumbs up What company should I choose?

I had posted a thread online about a week ago. I have decided to pay for CDL school starting Sept.4,2012. My driving trainer at the local school called CCS Fall Branch,TN. Suggested for me to go ahead and submit applications online and get some pre-hire letters. I have submitted applications and the following companies have said they will hire me upon completion of CDL School. McElroy,TMC sent pre-hire letter, US XPRESS sent pre-hire letter, Maverik sent pre-hire letter, and TransAm has sent pre-hire letters. I want to go out for 2weeks max and come home 2 days. Which company should I be able to make a great profit my first yr? I'm wanting to take home at least $650.00 a week after otr training? I dont mind trying flat bed or dry van or reefer. Give me advice on what decisions I should make. I want to make this a career for me and my family so momma can come home instead of working too.LOL..If mommas happy, we are very good..LOL.. Just send me some advice. Newbie here needing the veteran advice.

Kinda partial to Schneider, I've seen how they treat new drivers, they seem pretty happy. Nice facilities, free work boots every year, never stop training you. You'll be on your own sooner, too.( 2 weeks with trainer) I think with Werner, you gotta spend 10 weeks.( with very little money) TMC's got some really nice equipment. ( might be intimidating for new driver) They also have some different pay plan that allows newer drivers to make as much as an experienced driver. (might want to ask about that) Roehl's a pretty good company, I've heard. They pay on practical miles as opposed to the household movers guide, about 5% more to you. They can be alittle hard to get in there. Maverik seems OK, haven't heard an negativity there. I'd stay away from CRST, Trans Am, and US Express.( they'll run you ragged for very little money) I don't know enough about Swift, but alot of people start there. I used to be a CDL instructor at two different schools, used to have recruiters from all these companies come in, just telling you what I've seen. Good Luck!

Cross off usxpress & transam...they will attempt to stuff the lease down your throat...newbies don't need to be forced into leases...tmc & maverick are your best choices...
