They don't get the cream of the crop over there. In my opinion Western Express is worst than Swift to go work for. They have good equipment but hardly anyone qualified to drive it. Every truck I see is new and tore up. Check their safe stat scores!

I'm not sure if you have previous experience or not. I would go to Us Express knowing the training and support would be highest there. FFE would be where I'd go if you have enough experience to "Just Do It". Do a year, then reevaluate.

Some small company called Wolf Pak is good. Nice trucks, all shiny with the whole 9 yards.

All of them will hire you with no or very little experience. The catch is they will put you with a "Trainer" for 4 to 6 weeks maybe longer. While with the Trainer you will run your ### off as a team and gross somewhere around $500 a week for training. Believe it or not with no experience you have a better chance of getting hired buy one of those companies then someone with tons of experience. I came off the road after 30 + years and ran local for a couple years just to catch my breath. Went looking for road work and was told by these big companies that even though i have over 38 years clean driving record, that because I wasn't OTR in the last 2 years i didn't have enough experience.That's how they get out of paying for experienced driver. WTF
