Does your company let you take your truck home with you ?
Just wondering about some of the bigger companies. I may be driving for Watkins Shepard soon, depending on my current companies financial situation. We can't take our trucks home now, which is fine. One driver ruined it for everyone else.

Most companies do. They all have a generic policy of " if you live within x amount of miles of terminal you cant", but usually your DM will allow it. Stevens is the only one I knew that was extremely anal

I take mine home. That's actually one of the main things I look for in a company, I won't work for a company that won't let me take my truck home.

My boss doesn't, but they rent the space for the truck and trailer. They don't mind if I take it by my house once in a while to clean the interior and such, but for overnight I park it in the rental lot. Besides, El Paso has an ordinance prohibiting large vehicle/trailer parking (trucks, rvs, boats, etc) in residential neighborhoods unless you can park it in a driveway/drive pad. My driveway is just long enough to fit a bobtail in it but my wife would have a fit if I made her park in the street, lol!
