Not sure if this is the right thread to post this. I'm new to this forum and I've got a question about getting a cdl. I got a DUI 2 years ago in ks that was diferred and now dissmissed. For some reason I still have an interlock ignition device restriction in the state of ks. It allows me to drive any company vehicle. I live in Oklahoma and have never had a ks license but when my driving record is checked through oklahoma it shows nothing at all. The ks one only shows my ks license is restricted? I have not been able to find anywhere if I could obtain a cdl through Oklahoma or not? Does anyone know whether I can or not? Thanks in advance.

you will have trouble finding a job until your dui is 3-5 years old depending on company
meantime you can clear up this license discrepancy with ks
as you will need to drive everywhere to go OTR
I would wait until you can get a job driving to get your cdl
if you get it now and cant get a job for another year you will need to do a refresher course
