what's that?.....just kidding. Don't worry Falcon, just enjoy the scenery. on my first run last week I had to go up and down Monteagle with 76,000 pounds- the hardest part was going up a mountain during rush hour in chatanooga. What a trip!

Monteagle is just a hill. What are you going to do when you get in the mountains?

Most of the time that I ran Monteagle I was grossed out and would manage to get behind a slow moving RV that would make me grab a gear before I wanted. I did run it once when I had 10,000 in the box and I thought I had a fast truck! I was blowing drivers doors off!

Oh heck I can't remember the exact road but it was in PA and I was heading south on it.. I was new to trucking at the time and was following that stupid trip routing they give you.. I was loaded with rolls of paper if I remember right it was just over 79,000 Lbs... It was a small 2 lane road heading into the mountains and it was late at night.. Fog started in and got really think could not see more then 10-15 feet in front of me.. The hill was so bad (or my truck was really week lol) I had to go all the way down to first gear to climb this hill.. Didn't matter because I could not see anyways.. One of those things that you will never forget...

Oh and I also blew a steer tire in the gorge, That SUCKED and was one of the scariest moments of my life.. kept it off the wall and got it under control. I think the trucks behind me was just as scared as I was because I was all over the place.. Nothing I could do but go with it and hope it would not roll.. If I didn't have 2 hands on the wheel I know it would of been bad. After it blew the front of the truck jumped a good 4-5 feet to the left before I even knew what was happening...
