The way it's done at Prime is you do your CDL instruction, and are issued a MO CDL. After that you're on a training truck, and you'll be dispatched back to IL to do the testing necessary in IL in your trainer's truck.

You said that Prime crosses the border to test in Illinois - do you know if they have a good passing rate? I have heard many rumors about students coming back and failing, sometimes more than once. How did your class do? THANKS!

We don't "cross the border," as much as support folks after they get that Missouri CDL. Not everyone makes it through. If you work hard, apply yourself and don't do anything stupid- yeah, you'll be successful. Prime only places female trainees with female trainers, so there's quite a waiting list.

If u have to go to prime u should just go on welfare or expect to loose every thang
it seems like thay find the stupidest people on earth and sale them a truck (which thay never own) Prime was a good company years ago when thay were out of urbana mo but the first time thay went belly up proved every thang -

They are dispatched on a load that delivers in Illinois with their trainer. The trainee takes all the written tests, and uses his/her trainer's truck for the driving tests.
...it's exactly what we do for ALL of our new CDL holders. -
