US Xpress vs Scheider
First Time Here! I live in So Cal. I would like to get some feedback on US Xpress and Schneider or any suggestions or information on other companies. I have spent hours on the internet checking out the trucking industry. I want to make a career change now that my kids are grown etc. Thanks for any and all opinions. Also thanks for putting up with a potential newbie!

No worries about "puttin up" with ya. Is always cool to see. We were ALL newbies once! I'd steer away from U.S. Express, or any other that uses auto-shift trucks. Specially if you've never driven truck, they make you less or un-employable with companies that use standard transmissions. Is like my ole Pappie's philosophy. 'You're GOING to learn on a manual, cuz if you can drive that, you can drive anything.'
