Driving Opportunities with old DUI's

I am looking into the possibility of getting a CDL with the intent of landing a OTR job. I hope to save what is left of my body after being in construction beyond what I should have done.

I have in my driving record two dui's, one in '91 the other in '89. Both occured in a private vehicle and I didn't get a suspension in either case. That I made some very poor choices back then is not really what I want to address, rather I would like to know if this record would this lead to the unability to work in this industry.

I believe those DUIs are old enough that you shouldn't have any problems landing a job out of CDL school. Check out this site when you research companies: [LINK POSTED BY MEMBER] Only Members Can View This Truck Forum Link. When you click on a company's link in this site it will give you information that isn't always made readily available on that company's site, such as number of years old a DUI must be, number of moving violations allowed, number of accidents allowed, etc. Hope this helps!
