A DUI isn't neccessarily the kiss of death-for your hazmat at least- but pro's right getting a job could be hard.

If you're not looking to yank a tank, a HM endorsement is more trouble than it's worth.

Now I heard (from another driver's experience w/ TSA) that they will want the background check and fingerprinting (and $94-???) everytime you want to renew.

Some companies require you hold a hazmat, even for dry van, like crst, and Schneider, just a couple I know of.

HEY MODS!

I found some online practice hazmat tests the really helped me out and i was hoping to put the link up here to help out other people, but the tests are on a trucking schools webpage, and I didnt't know if it was against the rules for me to link to it. I would have PMed one of you to ask this but I can't yet. (not enough posts) Someone please let me know if i can.
