Smiley 1 need some advice from drivers in columbus,OH area

Hi,everybody.I'm new here.
This is a great forum for people like me!
I live in Columbus,OH area.

I graduated driving school 6 years ago (Class A) but ended up driving class B.

Now I'm ready to drive a semi and I was thinking about going with Warner or Swift since they have the training program until I read about them in this forum.
Are they really that bad???

I make about 32,000~35,000 a year driving B now,I'm hoping I can make a little more than that driving A regional.

I understand I have to go with somebody to get some miles under my belt
but I'm just wonderling if there are any better companies out there in my area that would give me the training besides Warner or Swift.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I just joined this board myself but I have been reading it for a while now and have seen good things said about Schneider National
from some of the experienced members of this board. Hopefully some of them come and confirm. You can google their name easily enough for the website.

Thanks for telling me about Schneider.I actually never thought about that one. I'm going to google it and do a little research about them today.

Hi,yevgeniyv.1980!
Thanks for responding.
Yes,I'm interested in all the options out there.
I would consider all the companies that's willing to give me a training
until I feel comfortable enough to be on the road on my own.

Safety is a big issue for me.
The company I work for now always wants to put me in a semi but they have so many violations on their truck.I'm afraid I'm gonna end up having a bunch of negative stuff on my driving record before I can go get a better driving job.

That's one reason I ended up driving B for this long.

Do you know any good LTL companies in this area?
