| Drug Test Quote:
I read an article about someone using his kids urine and was able to pass the test, while doing further research I came across this site, firstclasssafetytraining.com and read some good articles regarding Truck Driving Safety Training. Looking at all of this, I think I can make a career out of truck driving. |

| Hair Test When they do a hair test, they take a small amount of hair and cut it off even with the scalp. They only test the area close to the scalp. They cut off and discard all of the longer hair. It may be as small as an inch by the scalp that gets tested. That only tells what drugs have been used in the past few months. It is very inaccurate for post accident since it won't show what drugs have been taken within the past few days or hours. I don't see the big trucking companies going to this on a regular basis unless it is for pre-employment screening since it is cost prohibitive and doesn't show anything other than a previous history. Urine drug screens are quite accurate and should test for all 5 classes of prohibited drugs. It is not smart to use and drive! |

Ummm... I don't know what your issue is...they are looking for illegal drugs. If you tell them, when you take the test that you are on a prescription, like IE Tylenol 4, that is noted on the report. |
