Why was your license suspended and for how long? That will help us figure out what you need to do.
-
probably, but only if you figure out a way to post this same question 12 more times.
BigBadBill, Treefork, 123456 and 1 other person Thank this. -
It was for failure to pay some no insurance tickets. It was suspended since 2008

I really want to get to working thats why i'm all over here. Hopefully someone can help me
-
You were suspended for 5 years? Yeah, you're not hirable right now.

You may not be hireable for1-3 years. And even then then you will still be limited to working for major carriers only.

In another thread you stated that you had been suspended since 2008.
None of the larger companies are even going to look at your app past that point. Not until you've had a license in your posession for at least 3 years. Its an insurance thing, and they are not going to pay outrageous rates on you when they are insuring a fleet of 300+ drivers.
Really, I think your only hope at all of driving a CMV anywhere is going to be local outfits near you. Start with people you know and go from there. More than likely, if you get a job somewhere, its not going to be in a Class-A truck, more likely a Class-B (straight truck or similar). That said, look at Concrete/Materials companies, waste handling, moving companies, local warehouses, sawmills/lumber-yards, Rent-A-Center delivery, rock quarries, courier companies, the list goes on.
Even with those places, its going to be a VERY hard time getting hired as a driver. But all you can do is try try try.
Your best bet may be to try getting a General Laborer/Utility Person job at a company that has big trucks. Holding the CDL, the time may come when they need you to drive in a pinch. Or after working for a while, and proving yourself reliable and trust-worthy, they may take a shot and put you in one of their dump trucks or delivery vehicles. There are quite a few places I've seen over the years where having a CDL makes a difference in getting the job, even if the job is not actually a Drivers position. One place comes to mind around here, its a smaller Railroad Maintenance company. They do all sorts of things for the railroads on contract. LOTS of Laborer jobs, and lots and lots of heavy equipment. -
If you spent as much time filling out applications as you do posting the same post all over, you may have already found a job... LOL
