I have no problems... until people with no clue start posting utter BS in the guise of truth. That serves no one well.

What are u newbies made of frosting? Ironpony was just simply pointing out experience not theory. He is telling u what he went thru not what he read or was told. If someone ever tells u how to chain up ur truck while ur doing it wrong but he uses a tone or words u dont like what are u going to do? Not all of us are computer programmers failures or whatever it is u guys did before thinking about trucking some of these guys are rough around the edges but they will be willing to give u a hand but if some new guy gets offended well thats all he is going to say. I think thats why a lot of students fail to learn with a mentor and are crying for a different one because they cant keep their opinions to themselves and see and learn abd act like they know it all or they got it under control when the fact is they dont. As far as the lease goes hey u cant tell someone dont do it all u can say is I heard its really hard thats what Iv been told. Unless u already did it and know what your talking about then your opinion is irrelevant. How do u know he wont make it? I tried it I didnt like it there u go. U loose bennies and have much more responsability and the truck started having mechanical problems I wasnt getting paid any layovers or standby or paid vacations and holydays. Period.

Some of the Prime employees may come off harsh when defending negative posts about their company, but I have to say that is a real strong point for me. It means these guys are treated well and have pride in their company. I would much rather work with folks like them, than to work at XYZ co where all the drivers agree how much their company sucks....

Right, the big referral bonus has nothing to do with it...............

That statement is the exact type of negative comment that needs to be defended. I've had several questions answered by numerous Prime drivers & trainers on this forum over the past several months. They have all been very helpful & not a single one of them has offered me their real name or driver number for a referral bonus.

Big??? Who are you freakin' kidding?!!! The only way you get one is to provide the information to a driver who is new to Prime before they put in their application - there isn't one for having someone go into the lease program.

I've accepted one referall bonus in 6 years, and if I had it to do again I'd say "no thanks."

Check out what this former prime driver had to say about them. Granted, he didn't stay very long but it's still his experience. It's the last post on the page.

I've seen several positive posts about prime but just as many negative ones. Can I assume that those trainers are in the minority there?
